Bedside Cot Reviews

A bedside crib, sometimes referred to as a baby bassinet is positioned next to your bed so that you can safely take care of your baby during night feedings and diaper-changing without having to leave your bed. These cribs are great to help develop independence for your child as they become more comfortable in their own sleeping space.

The Joie Roomie Glide

The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside crib that allows parents to sleep together with their baby while making sure that they're asleep safely. Its smooth gliding motion helps to lull your baby back into sleep and its innovative features ensure that you can keep an eye on them without having to leave your own bed.

The side panel that slides out of the crib can be raised and lowered with a simple press of a button. This makes it simple to reach inside and soothe a baby in the night. It also comes with 11 height adjustments that let it accommodate the mattress of nearly any size bed and it includes adjustable folding feet to ensure it sits at just the right level.

In terms of safety the cot is cushioned and has mesh sides for better airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density foam for additional protection. It's also washable to keep it clean. It also comes with a fitted sheet that is suitable for the cot.

The Roomie Glide, unlike some other cribs for bed, is compatible with a wide range of beds, including divans. This is because of the clips and straps which connect it. It can also be used as a standalone crib when it's not connected to your bed and it's full of amazing features that were specifically designed with the bonding between parents and babies in mind.

One thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is ideal for babies, it won't last long once your child is six months old, and you'll have to purchase larger cots. However, overall Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she particularly liked its sleek design.

John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a fair price for such an item. She also liked how it looked in the bedroom and believed that its grey colour will work well in modern homes. She also mentioned that it's not a good idea to rock a baby younger because it can cause an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to ensure the best sleep possible. It comes with an adjustable side rail that can be easily lifted to feed your child in the evening without disturbing them or getting out of the bed. This is perfect for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during nap time and for travelling.

It's made of soft materials and features breathable mesh sides to promote airflow. It comes in charcoal or oak with a range of melange fabrics that blend with all styles of decor. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secured for security. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support number if you run into any problems.

The CoZee crib comes with all the features you would expect from a crib to your bed, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed using a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. In  bedside crib to cot , there is an incline feature that can be used to aid babies with congestion or reflux. It's also machine washable, a necessity for all the dribbles and vomit that comes with having a new baby!

The CoZee is a great option to keep your child close during the first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a cot, changing station and toddler bed. It can also be transformed into a sofa bed by the addition of an extension pack. And while it will not feed your baby or magically put them to sleep, it will rock them until they go off!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's more expensive alternatives. It does have numerous excellent features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib, and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel and is easy to operate, even for one-handed operation. It's also more flexible than its predecessor with 11 different height levels and retractable feet for a secure installation under any bed.

Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel, which can be lowered and raised by pressing the button. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick their baby up without waking them up.

The side panel can be lowered by itself, too however it isn't recommended as this increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism means that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the parent's bed correctly. This feature is great for peace of mind if you are breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers. It also has a tilting function to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode that can bring them back to sleep after eating. It is also very spacious and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, although it does have quite a long instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers but it can still be easily moved from one room to another. It's also small enough to fit into its travel bag when not in use, which is an advantage if you need to transport it. The only thing our testers found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see your baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're in search of an ideal bedside crib that can grow with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth a look. It's a co-sleeping crib that is securely attached to your bed and can be transformed into a stylish cot once your baby is old enough. Ideal for feeding at night and enhancing the bond between you and your newborn.

In contrast to other cribs for bed The Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The mesh side panels with dual-view and hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress maximize airflow and keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope can help alleviate colic and reflux. The zip-down side lets you to feed your baby, or even comfort them at night.

The cot conversion kit is also well designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you need. It took us about an hour to construct and was relatively easy to put together. The only drawback was the lack of written captions on a few of the images which made it difficult to comprehend some of the steps. Overall, it was an easy process and the quality of the materials employed was of a high standard.

The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are breastfeeding or have had a c-section. It lets them reach out and touch their baby for comfort and feeding without leaving their bed. It's great for parents who do not want to go through the hassle of putting their baby in a traditional cot, or getting them out of it.

During our tests we observed the gliding motion of this next-to-me crib to be especially helpful when it comes to helping babies fall asleep after feedings at night and midday. The drop-down side can also be accessible to feed or soothe babies in the middle of the night and was a major draw for our exhausted test moms. The Joie Roomie Glide is a modern and stylish crib that doesn't rock or have extra features such as an audio system.
